I do, however, like the fact that you can change your aim sensitivity and invert the y-axis controls in the options menu - that will certainly be a blessing to a lot of gamers. Game Name: Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice Region Code: NTSC-U/C (US/Canada) Release Year: 2008 Manufacturer Warranty: N/A Features: Multiplayer, Complete Edition, Manual Included Genre: Racing Country/Region of Manufacture: United States UPC: 711719870326 videogameseller 95. Enemies shoot at you with invisible bullets (with a game like this I'd expect them to not only be visible, but have little snarling faces on them) so you take damage and suddenly explode when you've seemingly been playing well.Īnother gripe is the fact that when you're hurtling down a highway and you're in front of the bad guys, even though you can still aim at the thugs (of course) you're once again chipping away at your Justice Meter to improve your health because there's no way to avoid being hit.

Strangely enough, this doesn't make the game a pushover.

With Pursuit Force it's pretty much shooting fish in a barrel, with a shotgun. Some manage to get this right: the best I've seen at this is Killzone: Liberation, where if you're close, it snaps on to the target. Some titles (and this one is also guilty here) tend to auto-aim a little bit too much so that you can enjoy your tea while holding down the fire button. Making a game fun to play on the PSP when it comes to third-person shooters is quite an art - the controls don't lend themselves to precise quick movements, pretty much a must-have for this genre. This would have been a nice feature if the game was particularly difficult, although admittedly I ended up using this quite a bit further on down the line. Worrying about the fact that jumping on to an oncoming car at the combined speed of 300km/h and making an embarrassing pile of road pizza out of yourself is for other people. The game is all about action - extreme, over-the -top action - at any cost. This is right out of a class of Sylvester Stallone's believability 101. If you're expecting realism, you've come to the wrong game. This is a fairly simple affair, and you won't require a degree in mechanical engineering (like the ridiculously laborious task of doing this in Colin McRae Rally) to work out what to use when.

PURSUIT FORCE EXTREME JUSTICE MOVIE
It's not enough these days to say: "Hey, how about a racing game where you jump between cars?" With the added cut-scenes, characters and hyper-real story-line, the game feels more like a movie and you get into it quickly. The original Pursuit Force met with mixed reviews, and I see they've gone all out this time to claw a place for the game that marks it as original, and above all fun.
